Senior Full-Stack Software Developer

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our product vision and driving the development of our digital water management platform. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on a critical issue while working with a modern tech stack and innovative blockchain technology.
Responsibilities
• Lead the development and implementation of our Typescript React application, ensuring robust and scalable front-end architecture.
• Design and maintain backend API services using Node.js, Express, and Amazon Lambda, ensuring seamless integration with our Amazon API Gateway.
• Manage and optimize our data storage solutions, including Amazon RDS, Amazon S3, and Amazon OpenSearch, to ensure efficient and secure handling of data.
• Integrate and utilize Amazon Textract for OCR services and Amazon Cognito for user management to enhance the functionality of our WETx Vault.
• Work with our blockchain stack, particularly Ravencoin, to tokenize water rights and shares, enabling transparent and efficient water transactions.
• Collaborate closely with the product management team to ensure the development aligns with business goals and customer needs.
• Play an active role in shaping the overall product strategy, contributing ideas and insights that will drive the future of water management in the west.
• Mentor junior developers and help build a strong technical foundation for the team as the company scales.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with a strong focus on building scalable SaaS applications.
Location: Must be local to Utah
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Typescript and React for front-end development.
• Strong experience with Node.js and Express for backend development.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Amazon API Gateway, Amazon Amplify, Amazon Lambda, Amazon RDS, Amazon S3, Amazon Textract, and Amazon OpenSearch.
• Familiarity with blockchain technology, particularly Ravencoin, and its application in tokenization and distributed ledger systems.
• Experience with Amazon Cognito for user authentication and management.
